How does the daily challenge work?

One game a day, the same board for everyone in the world, one try. A new one starts at midnight UTC — 7 PM Central in summer, 6 PM in winter.
The rules
- One game a day, in rotation through the twelve original games.
- Everyone in the world gets the same board.
- One try. After that, the card shows your score and offers a practice round.
- Never uses a play.
- Tic-Tac-Toe and Crossword are never the daily.
When it changes
- A new challenge starts at midnight UTC.
- That’s 7 PM Central in summer, 6 PM in winter.
Scores and streaks
- Daily scores go on their own Game Center board, which resets every day.
- Play days in a row for streak achievements and background unlocks.
