Squishy Math Trail Help

Something isn't working — what do I do?

Quick answer

Most fixes: pick a player first, tap Restore Purchases for the Squishy Pack, and allow the microphone in Settings for Windy and Boo!. Still stuck? Email support.

The tiles are grey

  • No player is picked. Tap a squishy at the top first.
  • No players yet: the screen says Make a player to start! Tap New.

A tile says “1 player”

  • Two players are picked. Only the Trail Game plays two.
  • Tap one player to unpick them.

Players or coins are gone

  • Players are saved on this device only. They do not move to a new device.
  • Deleting the app deletes the players.
  • The Squishy Pack does come back. See below.

The Squishy Pack is missing

  • Tap the bag under a player, then Restore Purchases.
  • Use the same Apple ID that bought it.
  • “No Squishy Pack on this Apple ID”: this Apple ID did not buy it.

A purchase didn’t finish

  • “Waiting for approval”: Ask to Buy is on. The family organizer approves it.
  • “Purchase failed”: try again.
  • “The store is not ready yet”: wait a moment, then try again.
  • “Could not check the purchase”: tap Restore Purchases.

Windy or Boo! do nothing

  • “Windy and Boo! need a grown-up to allow the microphone.” Turn the trick on again and pass the grown-up check.
  • “The microphone is off. A grown-up can turn it on in Settings.” Open Settings › Squishy Math › Microphone and turn it on.

No sound or no voice

  • Check the speaker button on the home screen.
  • Check the voice button. It is per player, and starts off for ages 7 and over.
  • Check the silent switch and the volume.

The math is too easy or too hard

  • Check the age: bag under the player › Change age.
  • In Learn: tap Check again (1 minute).
