How do I share the plan with my family?
Quick answer
Go to Settings and tap Invite Family. Everyone you invite can see and edit meals, the weekly plan, and the grocery list.
Invite your family
- Open Settings.
- Under Family Sharing, tap Invite Family.
- Send the invite with the share screen that opens.
- They open the invite on their iPhone to join.
What they can do
- See and edit meals, the weekly plan, and the grocery list.
- Meal Slots are the same for everyone.
- Calendar settings are not shared. Each person picks their own calendar.
See who has joined
- Settings > Family Sharing lists each person.
- Owner: the person who shared.
- Joined: accepted the invite.
- Invited: has not accepted yet.
Change who is in
- Tap Manage Sharing to add or remove people, or stop sharing.
