How do I move or delete files?

Check files

• Click a row to check or uncheck it.
• Select › All checks every result.
• Select › None unchecks everything.
• The bottom left shows how many are checked and their total size.

Move files

1. Click Move…
2. Pick a folder. Or click New Folder to make one.
3. Click Move Here.

• Name already used: the moved file gets a number, like photo 2.jpg.
• Already in that folder: the file is left where it is.

Delete files

1. Click Delete…
2. Read the box. It shows how many files and how much space.
3. Click Delete to go ahead, or Cancel.

• Delete is permanent. Files do not go to the Trash.
• It can’t be undone. If you’re not sure, use Move… instead.

Duplicates

• Leave one copy in every group unchecked.
• If every copy is checked, the app stops and asks you to uncheck one.

When it’s done

• Moved or deleted files leave the results.
• The status line says how many worked, and how many failed.
