Do I need to create an account?

There’s nothing to sign up for and no password. Team Assist uses the Apple Account already on your iPhone. You do need to confirm you’re 18 or over.
There’s no Team Assist account to create. The app uses the Apple Account your iPhone is already signed into.
The one thing you’ll be asked is to confirm you’re an adult, since Team Assist is for adults only. On iOS 26 and later that goes through Apple, which confirms your age band without sharing your date of birth. On earlier versions you confirm it yourself. We never receive a date of birth either way.
Two things follow from having no separate account with us.
Your information follows your Apple Account, not your phone. Sign into the same account on another device and it comes with you.
There’s no password for us to reset. Getting into Team Assist means getting into your Apple Account, which Apple manages. If you’re locked out of that, Apple is who can help — we have no way in.
To see which Apple Account your iPhone is using, open Settings and look at the name at the top.
