Our privacy policy is the authoritative description of what Team Assist handles and how, published at legal.mytombrown.com/privacy.
What Team Assist collects, why, and how long it’s kept is set out in full in the privacy policy. That document is authoritative, and this help centre deliberately doesn’t restate it — a summary that drifts out of step with the policy is worse than no summary at all.
Two things worth knowing that sit alongside it:
Team Assist is for adults. The app is designed so that nobody under 18 has an account — everyone confirms they’re 18 or over before it opens. Information about an athlete under 18 is entered by an adult — their coach, or their parent or guardian. See who can use Team Assist.
We never receive your date of birth. On iOS 26 and later the adult confirmation goes through Apple, which tells us only whether you’re 18 or over. On earlier versions you confirm it yourself. Neither route gives us a date of birth.
