What are the games and how do they play?
Quick answer
The Trail Game is a dice board game for 1 or 2 players. Flashcards, Story Trail, Squishy Match, Number Slide, Squishy Fishing and the Temp Chamber are for one player. Every game earns coins.
Trail Game
- 1 or 2 players. Pick both on the home screen first.
- Tap or flick the die. Solve the problem to hop along.
- Reach the finish to end the level. Next Level brings more spaces and bigger numbers.
- Stop ends the game. Points become coins.
Flashcards
- One card at a time. Pick the answer.
- 5 right in a row steps up a level. 3 wrong in a row steps down.
- Right adds points. Wrong takes some off.
- After a wrong answer: on devices with Apple Intelligence, a hint says the problem another way.
- Done ends the round.
Story Trail
- Flashcards told as tiny stories. Your child’s squishy is the hero.
- The app picks the numbers. On devices with Apple Intelligence, Apple’s on-device model writes the words. Otherwise a built-in set of stories is used.
Squishy Match
- 20 levels on the Pop Meadow map.
- Make the number at the top. Drag through squishies that add up to it.
- Each level has a move limit and up to 3 stars.
- The −1 bubble takes one off a squishy’s number.
Number Slide
- Swipe up, down, left or right. Every squishy slides.
- Two the same join into the next number. 2 + 2 = 4.
- Every join earns a coin. Bigger squishies earn bonus coins.
- No more moves! ends the game. Play again or Done.

Squishy Fishing
- Tap Fish! to cast.
- Answer the math to reel it in. A wrong answer: It got away!
- Junk and snacks pay more than fish.
- A Golden Prize pays bonus coins.
Temp Chamber
- Two thermometers: Celsius and Fahrenheit. Slide either one. The other follows.
- Cold: the squishy freezes. Hot: it melts.
Playroom
- Free for everyone: tap it to squish, rub it to tickle, press Dance mode.
