What do the families on my teams see?

Last updated

Quick answer

A connected family sees your practices and games for their player, plus assignments, announcements and updates. It all appears when you save it; nothing to publish.

Everything goes to the adults connected to each player: a parent or guardian, or a player 18 or over. A player 15 to 17 can also see it on their own phone once a parent adds that phone to the family. Nothing goes to anyone under 15.

What they get

  • Practices and games that include their player. They appear when you save them and the family can Accept or Decline.
  • Assignments — follow-up work they can mark complete.
  • Announcements — team messages they can mark read. They last 10 days, then delete themselves on both phones.
  • Updates you choose to share for a player.

If nobody is connected for a player, nothing is shared. That’s normal.

On their phone

They install Team Assist, choose the Athlete profile, and connect with your invite code. Their Home opens on Today, then what needs an answer, then Upcoming. Each practice or game is one card with Accept and Decline; tapping the place opens directions. They can message you through team chat.

Taking something back

Delete a practice, assignment or announcement and it disappears from their phone too. Disconnecting a family ends what they can see — see who can see what.
