What's on my Home screen? (parents and athletes)
Last updated
Home opens on today’s sessions, then anything that needs an answer from you, then what’s coming up, then four tiles: Assignments, Announcements, Packages, and Finance.
This is the Home tab when you use Team Assist as a parent or an adult athlete (the Athlete profile). The bar at the bottom has three tabs: Home, Teams, and Settings.
The top of Home
- Your name, with a line under it naming the athlete and how many teams they are on — for example “Bench · 2 teams”.
- Today — a card with how many sessions there are today and their times. The capsule on the right says All clear in green, or N need attention in orange when something is waiting on you.
- Team chips — All teams, then one chip per coach or trainer. Tap one to show only that coach’s items.
- The profile button is top-left. The chat bubble and the bell are top-right; the bell shows a count of unread notifications. Deleting a notification is permanent, and Delete All Notifications asks you to confirm before it empties the list.
Needs Attention
Anything that needs an answer lands here: payment requests, package warnings, assignments, and availability. Each row shows what it is, who sent it, the amount and due date if it is money, and a chip naming the athlete.
- Show all opens the full list when only the first few are showing.
- The × on a row dismisses it. Dismissed rows are counted underneath — “1 dismissed · Restore” — and Restore brings them back.
- When there is nothing to do, the section reads Nothing needs action.
Upcoming
The next sessions, one row each: the day and time, the session name, which coach or trainer runs it, and a chip naming the athlete. View all opens the full list. Tap a row to open the session.
The four tiles
Under Upcoming are four tiles. Each carries a count and a one-line summary:
- Assignments — work a coach has sent, with how many need attention.
- Announcements — team messages, with how many are unread.
- Packages — the athlete’s session packages, with credits left.
- Finance — what is owed, shown as an outstanding total, and your payment history. See packages, credits and what you owe.
