How do I get started?

Quick answer

Open Chores and tap Create a Family (if you’re the parent setting it up) or Join a Family (if someone invited you). Then use the Home, Chores, Rewards and Activity tabs.

Chores is chores, points, and rewards for the whole family. Kids do chores, earn points, and spend them on rewards you set up.

First launch

  • Setting up the family? Tap Create a Family.
  • Someone invited you? Tap Join a Family.
  • Opened an invite link? Tap Join Now on the welcome screen.

Create a family

  • Type a Family name (like “The Browns”).
  • Type Your name and pick a color.
  • Tap Create.
  • You become the Owner of the family.

The four tabs

  • Home: parents see the dashboard. Kids see their points and today’s chores.
  • Chores: today’s chores and the full chore list.
  • Rewards: what points can buy.
  • Activity: every time points were earned, spent or changed.

Settings

  • Tap the gear at the top of Home.
  • Shows the family name, members, and Sync Status.
