How do I turn a recording into a podcast?
Quick answer
Open the recording, pick Newscast or Interview, and tap Create. Recap makes the transcript, the summary and the audio, then you tap Play.
Create it
- Open a recording from the home screen.
- Pick a style: Newscast (one voice, news stories) or Interview (Host and Guest).
- Tap Create newscast or Create podcast.
- Watch the steps: Transcript, Summary and script, Voice.
Play it
- Tap the play button in the bar.
- Again — make it once more, for example after adding notes or new voices.
- From — tap Summary or Transcript to see where it got its info.
Key points
- Key points appear at the top once it is made.
- Tabs switch between key points and each summary section.
- Tap a point to hear that moment in the recording.
Add notes and photos after
- Your notes and photos — type notes or tap Add photo.
- Then tap Again to fold them into the summary.
The files
- Recording, the podcast and Transcript are tiles. Tap one to open it.
- Files lists the rest, such as Summary and the script.
- Mac: Show in Finder opens the folder.
Keep it
- Keep forever stops it being auto-deleted after 30 days.
