What's on the Home screen? (coaches)
Last updated
Home is what you see when you open Team Assist as a coach: today’s practices and games, a Needs Attention list of follow-ups, and shortcuts into Schedule, Teams and Assignments.
As a coach, Team Assist has tabs along the bottom: Home, Schedule, Teams, Tools, and Search. Home is the dashboard.
What’s on Home
-
Today — today’s practices and games. Tap one to open it, or View all for the full schedule. Before anything is scheduled it shows “All clear — no sessions scheduled today”, which is the normal day-one state.
Home shows a summary. On a busy day the list stops after the first few and tells you how many more there are — tap it for the full list on Schedule.
-
Needs Attention — follow-ups with a count for each, such as session declines, availability requests, assignment completions, and announcement reads. It only appears when something actually needs attention.
Session Confirmations lists declines only. A family that hasn’t answered yet is not a follow-up; a decline shows up with their reason.
-
Workspace — shortcuts into Schedule, Teams, and Assignments.
At the top are Messages and alerts, and a profile pill for switching profiles.
Notifications
The bell opens the Notification Center. Each notification has Open, Mark as Read, and Delete; swiping a row deletes it too. Mark All as Read clears the count; Delete All Notifications empties the list after asking. Deleted stays deleted.
Search
The Search tab searches your players, practices, games, teams and the rest of your data as you type.
Can it be customised?
In Tools → Settings → Needs Attention you choose which follow-ups feed the queue, and single items can be dismissed.
